Extended Detection and Response (XDR) has evolved significantly over the past few years, becoming more critical than ever for organizations in need of enhanced capabilities. But so, too, have the accompanying managed services evolved. Port53 Technologies President Omar Zarabi explains.
In an interview with ISMG, Zarabi discussed:

Zarabi began his career in 2008 as a Regional Consultant and Branch Manager for College Works Painting. In 2010, he became the Owner/CEO of Compass Consulting, a sole proprietorship management consulting firm. From 2013-2016, he worked at OpenDNS, a company that secures the networks used by more than 85 million people to connect to the Internet, in roles including Account Executive and Sales Development. In 2016, he joined Dataguise as an Account Executive, and in 2014 became a Founding Team Member at Blueboard Inc. In 2019, Zarabi became a Founding Member of the Bace Cybersecurity Institute, and in 2022 joined the Executive Board Member of the Spark Program. Most recently, he has served as President & CEO of Port53 since 2016.
