ServiceNow’s Neeraj Jain on Risk Mitigation and Real-Time Data Access for AI Agents
Enterprises that embed governance from intake to deployment scale artificial intelligence faster than those that bolt it on afterward. Without visibility into AI assets across the organization, companies face reputational damage, legal fines and compliance failures when applications reach production without proper risk assessment.

Neeraj Jain, director of product management, hyperscalers and multi-cloud at ServiceNow, said governance should accelerate innovation rather than constrain it. Organizations need real-time access to authoritative data sources. The zero-data-copy approach eliminates duplication and ensures AI agents operate on current information.
“Whenever a business leader hears the word governance, they immediately think of bureaucracy, red tape, paperwork,” Jain said. “But our research indicates that good governance can actually be a massive strategic accelerator for companies who want to deploy AI within their enterprises.”
In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at AWS re:Invent 2025, Jain also discussed:
- How structured AI intake processes reduce technical debt and misconfigurations;
- How ServiceNow’s AI Control Tower provides visibility into the entire AI stack;
- Why engaging security, legal and compliance teams at intake prevents friction during deployment.
With more than 15 years of experience, Jain has extensive expertise in hyperscaler ecosystems, having pioneered the public cloud business at MicroStrategy, Teradata and ServiceNow from scratch. He is also an adviser for the Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times Program at the University of California.
