Roughly half of clients adopting Aurora endpoint security are replacing older, legacy endpoint solutions, while the other half are swapping out or augmenting next-gen endpoint tools. Schneider said customers are questioning whether they’re getting enough protection, insight and integration from their endpoint investment relative to its cost, with many seeing the appeal of consolidating onto Arctic Wolf’s platform (see: MDR, EDR Markets See Wave of M&A as Competition Intensifies).
“The thesis for the deal is proving out,” Schneider said. “There are a lot of customers that are looking for more than just endpoint security and looking for what the Arctic Wolf security operations cloud can provide in conjunction with our endpoint. That’s been true of customers of all sizes and all backgrounds, and frankly true of customers that have leveraged previously a variety of different endpoints.”
In this video interview with Information Security Media Group, Schneider also discussed:
- How to support compliance, risk management and insurance relationships;
- How to enable MSP visibility at both the customer and aggregate levels;
- The implications of AI agents filling specific SOC roles alongside humans.
